Born out of the vision of Nicholas Leach, with over 20 years in Television production experience, X-Ten Productions is a fresh and up and coming studio.
History:
With experience working in Television production for other studios, Nick started X-Ten Productions as a solo operation more then 10 years ago when he purchased his first beta cam and broadcast editing suite. Since then the company has grown slowly, mostly through word of mouth of satisfied clients. X-Ten’s first projects were low budget television commercials. These projects slowly led to bigger and bigger gigs with clients that included Turtle Island Recycling, and Burger King among others.
While Nick enjoyed doing commercials, he also had a real love for the outdoors. This love naturally led to him pursuing work with outdoor television shows. He hooked up with Leo Stakos at Fish-TV as a camera man, and it wasn’t long before the relationship evolved to a point where X-Ten was the brought on as Fish-TV’s production team.
At that time, Fish-TV was on two television networks. It has since expanded and gained popularity and is being broadcast on six networks including OLN in Canada, and Outdoor Channel in the U.S. where Nicholas J Leach was awarded Best Saltwater Footage award for his work on a striped marlin show.
By this time, X-Ten’s reputation and relationship with OLN led X-Ten to launch their second outdoor program; RC-TV in 2006.
In 2008 X-Ten moved to their current home; a 1200 square foot studio in downtown Toronto.
In 2010, X-Ten’s third outdoor show: Hunt-TV will be airing in living rooms across North America.
With all of this exciting outdoor action taking up much of our time, X-Ten has their hands full. But the ever growing team is passionate and eager to take on any new challenges that come.

We have everything from standard to high definition recording and editing equipment. We specialize in video production from web to television. From simple videos to complex motion graphics we handle it all. With over 300 television commercials to our name, and three full broadcast outdoor themed television programs, X-ten is a full fledged television production studio. We do it all in house from start to broadcast. Our crews have traveled the world over and we’ve filmed everywhere from the Icy Arctic to the Amazon Jungle.
